Fantastic work, truly. This image gives us the essence of FemShep at her best. As she waits for rescue, the serene look on her face says that what matters to her is she ended the war and saved the galaxy. So somebody hurry and rescue her, already!
I started my epilog to the series on DA, "Coda", from that same cliffhanger moment after the 'red' ending, since I had no idea what happened after that, too! :/ My FemShep got rescued, but she was in worse shape, unfortunately!
I like to think all the end was a indoctrination provoked by the Harbinger's attack until you reach the Citadel part. And the moment she breaths its in the context that she is still in London and her injures was because of Harbinger's attack. And then she is alive and need to get up to go to the Citadel and kick some Reapers asses. Exist a lot of speculation about it, and its about the opinion of every person. Well, I ended Mass Effect 3 times enough to creat my own end. I think my Shepard just deserved that. I mean, if her death was certain, I would accept (would cry a lot), but accept. But all that speculation just gave me all the ways I needed to make my Shepard get up and end that war , be alive and have a lot of adopted turian babies running in her house on Rio.( I imagined everything, with Linkin Park as soundtrack) So I say - give your Shepard the end you think she deserves. Bioware just gave us a lot of options and an immense white page. I would not believe in the indoctrination theory if it did not make sense. I mean, why would your military effectiveness make a real difference if Shepard reach to the Citadel anyway, in the end? Anyway, really beautiful your work ^^ congrats Pardon my english, I am brazilian ^^
Love this. FemShep ALIVE! I'm not even mad at the ending, really; it makes logical sense. The Reapers were horrifying, the fate of the galaxy was horrifying; I wasn't expecting a romantic, awesome, puke-rainbows kind of ending, not with what the galaxy had to go through. It fits that the state of things would be suckish. I'm mad because I wanted closure. But PLEASE give us DLC, Bioware, or a video compilation, or a note on a coffee-stained napkin, or SOMETHING! *rant over* I adore your art--it captures the darkness of ME3's ending while still conveying hope.
